In the past few days, wholesale egg prices have been dropping like a rock under MAGA leadership.
Here’s a chart provided by TradingEconomics and edited by us showing wholesale egg prices over the past five years:

Prices peaked in early March at more than $8.00/dozen. As of this week, a dozen eggs at wholesale costs just under $3.00. I expect wholesale egg prices to continue a downward trend, perhaps not in a straightline, to a leveling-off of about $1.30/dozen.
Note: wholesale price is less than retail price. The lowest priced eggs at retail that I found in my area in Northeast Ohio were at a place named Marc’s whereby the last week or so they’ve been selling extra large eggs for $3.99/dozen.
