I really don’t watch professional sports such as the NBA or NFL anymore. However, I did listen to parts of quarters two and three of Super Bowl 60 between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots while doing other activities.1Seattle won the game, 29-13 After the game became a distraction, I turned it off.
NFL’s Half-time Programs
Regarding the NFL’s half-time “programming” distributed by legacy media such as NBC, their “creative” degeneracy—essentially manipulative poison—is unwelcome at my homestead.
🚨The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show was pure smut, brazenly aired on national television for every American family to witness. Don’t just listen to my opinion. See for yourself. Witness the lack of enthusiasm by the fans in the stadium at Super Bowl 60:
And, this is prior to their learning about the disgusting lyrics this character sang for football fans, including children. I won’t be surprised if lawsuits are filed against NBC and the NFL.
The Alternative “All-American Halftime Show”
Out of curiosity, though, I chose to tune-in to Turning Point USA’s alternative half-time show, the “All-American Halftime Show.”
I like to support organizations that openly create alternatives to filthy, subversive organizations such as the NFL and legacy media, and their many degenerate executives.
My opinion on Turning Point USA’s alternative half-time show:
- It delivered, especially for its inaugural performance!
Rating the Music Entertainers
My rating of the artists, based on my personal tastes, from 1 to 10, with ten being the best.
- Brantley Gilbert: 4.
- I’m not too into country-rap music. Also, given TPUSA wants to project a conservative, traditional family image to people, this artist doesn’t fit the bill (all tatted-up, for example).
- Lee Brice: 5-6.
- The parts I saw and listened to seemed fine, but I missed some of his set. Nevertheless, his style of country music doesn’t resonate with me.
- Gabby Barrett: 8.
- Never heard of this artist, either, but she has a good voice and the songs fit the bill. Her attire was appropriately conservative. Perhaps the color of her pant suit could have been red (or red, white, and blue).
- Kid Rock: 6.
- I’m not a fan of Kid Rock’s music; just my personal taste. He was a good appropriate choice for the show, though.
Areas of Improvement
Put together a show with artists that are even more oriented to family values, conservative attire, and music that might cross over to a wider audience. It was a good first show and attempt. Much applause.
Recommended Songs and Music Artists
What’s a benchmark example?
- Something akin to, say, the song and video titled “Forever And Ever, Amen” by Randy Travis (Official Music Video on YouTube). Duly note: Given the Randy Travis YouTube channel set the video permissions to only be played on YouTube, be prepared to tolerate a few forced ads.
Alternatively, you may watch and listen to the song right here, even though it doesn’t include the original video scene of a traditional wedding and marriage:
This song and original video present marriage, family values, tradition,2I even support bringing back traditional Catholicism (“TradCath“) en masse, as they say. and faith – in a subtle, unobtrusive manner. Also, Randy’s style of country music, at least this song, is what I’d consider cross-over music. Plus, it’s a prelude to Saint Valentine’s Day!
Alternatively, one could easily put together an entire high-quality Super Bowl half-time show by inviting music artists to perform the songs from that album, Common Thread: Songs of The Eagles.
Closing Words
Now, what about your opinion?
Do you support derogatory lyrics, degenerate behavior, and mass psychology manipulation? Or, would you rather support more wholesome entertainment grounded in decency, faith, and patriotism?
I tend to vote with my pocket book, and a nontrivial number of like-minded people are doing so, too.
After all, the power of the purse of the silent majority is a force to reckon with.
Footnotes
