Holiday Eggnog Coffee Pre-workout

I made some holiday eggnog coffee pre-workout beverage.

The other day, I shared a video reel by TooBuff4ThisSS on Facebook. He’s a former deadlifting powerlifter who posts funny video clips with his commentary.1TooBuff4Thisss has between 250k-500k followers on each of his platforms of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

In my post, I wrote the following about his video clip (above) regarding the homemade pre-workout food, Vanilla Monster Ice-cream:

A new pre-workout for Gym-bros! The creativity and innovation of this Mad Lad brings tears to my eyes. Respectfully, indeed.

As such, this weightlifting pre-workout idea was on my mind while grocery shopping at ALDI yesterday evening. So, I bought some holiday eggnog.

The ingredients could be better, especially since it contains bioengineered food products. I noticed that statement after I bought it, even though I scanned the list of ingredients at the store before putting it in my cart. So, I won’t buy this product again. I suppose that’s why the price of ~$3.20 is so reasonable; organic, wholesome eggnog is probably 2x this amount.

As for the coffee used, I downgraded to the most affordable brand available that still tastes decently: Café El Morro Espresso Ground Coffee from Puerto Rico Coffee Co. of Hoboken, NJ. I also bought this $.39/ounce ($6.24/pound) vacuum-packed coffee from ALDI. For comparison, the whole bean Eight O’Clock Coffee I bought back in September was on sale for about $.42/ounce, but normally it is priced at about $.58/ounce ($9.28/pound). The latter does taste better, by the way.

Anyway, I paid about 33% less than the average price of ground roast coffee at retail in the U.S., which was $9.14 in September, up more than 2x (125%) since January 2020!2Note, the price increases that we are experiencing are mostly from the money printing by the banks, especially during the scamdemic. It dilutes our purchasing power. End the Fed and return to gold/silver-backed money.

For the eggnog coffee pre-workout end result, I added a pinch of cinnamon, cloves, and cayenne pepper to the mixture, even though the eggnog already is pre-seasoned.
