Study: Path to Longevity Includes Positive Vibes and a Shot of Fireball Whiskey

This post describes how Florence Hackman (aka “Fireball Flo”) may have enhanced her longevity. It also references some super athletes, the Tarahumara Tribe of Mexico, who used corn beer for occasional celebratory purposes.

Want to know a secret to longevity, according to a fellow Ohioan, Florence Hackman (aka “Fireball Flo”), who just turned 106 years young?

As I shared on social media from this Breitbart article (click image below), here’s one solution to longevity:

Maintain a positive attitude and drink Fireball whiskey.

As for the first part, even the Bible suggests the same:

22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Proverbs 17:22, King James Version

An Ohio woman who recently celebrated her 106th birthday with a shot of something strong is still bringing joy to all her loved ones.

Florence Hackman, who was born on December 16, 1918, is nicknamed “Fireball Flo” because she enjoys drinking Fireball whiskey, Fox News reported on Saturday.

According to the whiskey brand’s website, the drink “Tastes like heaven, burns like hell.“

So, even though I don’t drink alcohol, let’s lift a glass and toast to the longevity of Fireball Flo.1Maybe I’ll start incorporating a birthday ritual with Fireball whiskey or something; perhaps a celebratory variant of how the Tarahumara Tribe of Mexico would celebrate with Tesgüino (corn beer) and peyote. I learned about them, the long distance running super athletes, after reading a book, Born to Run, by Christopher McDougall. I also shared that on social media way back on 21 Sep. 2010.

Cheers.
