Primary Election 2026: Pulled A Libertarian Ballot!

I pulled a Libertarian ballot for the Primary Election 2026 in Ohio. Some last minute tips are provided for prospective Libertarian voters and those on the fence of good vs. evil.

On Friday, I voted in the Primary Election 2026 and pulled a Libertarian ballot.1

It was an awesome feeling, as though I just liberated myself from the mental slavery imposed by the Uni-party of Democrats and Republicans, to paraphrase Bob Marley:

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds.

Redemption Song” by Bob Marley & The Wailers

Primary Election 2026

Nevertheless, as shared on social media on Friday morning, it is still primary election season through this Tuesday, the 5th of May.2

The ballot options to pull in Ohio’s 14th Congressional District of Northeast Ohio are as followings (ranked best to worst):

  1. Libertarian: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness (e.g., tax-free property)
  2. Unaffiliated/Independent: However, one may only vote on non-partisan issues.
  3. The Corrupt Uni-party (Democrat–Republican): Wars and $39 Trillion+ in Debt!

Having the Libertarian option is special, since Ohio’s Supreme Court (aka “Bullies in Ohio”) and Congress make it exceedingly difficult for a third party to get on a primary ballot. So, in a way, the Libertarians gave the proverbial middle finger to the corrupt Uni-party government in Ohio. And, they did so simply by winning the hearts and minds of prospective voters of integrity.

Libertarian Ballot Tips

If you plan to pull a Libertarian ballot, then prepare in advance and research the write-in candidates. You will need this information, for at least the state auditor, since no names are offered on the ballot, just “write in.” Therefore, you must obviously write in your choice, so be sure you spell the names correctly.

  • Jeffrey Kanter for U.S. Senate is still on the ballot, but he has since withdrawn, so don’t vote for him, as that vote won’t count.
  • The state auditor option is only as a write-in, so you must know the name before going to vote: Aidan Jeffrey, state auditor of Ohio.
  • Review any other write-in candidates that you might want to support.

Uni-party Examples

Regarding the corrupt Uni-party (two-parties acting as one), it’s very easy to understand why the Democrats and Republicans are essentially one very bad party at the core, which are the points every man, woman, and voting age person should have top of mind.

When the Founding Fathers crafted the U.S. Constitution, they were primarily concerned with building a government that upheld liberty, discouraged tyranny, and safeguarded individual rights. Yet, amid their meticulous efforts to establish this framework, many of them warned about the dangers of political factionalism—particularly the emergence of a two-party political system.

917 Society: “Why Our Founding Fathers Were Concerned About a Two-Party Political System.” 22 June 2025

For instance, the Democrats and Republicans (Uni-party or two-party system) are united in force regarding the use of the following:

Sheeple: But, Joey AF, how can you tell whether a Uni-party Democrat–Republican candidate or politician is lying?

Me: When they move their lips.

Nevertheless, here are two notable points that the Uni-party—and its “useful idiot” voters—embrace with gusto:

Excessive National Debt

For example, consider the national debt, which is theft from future generations:

What mentally compels people to continue to vote for this Uni-party evil? This, alone, is enough to eviscerate any arguments or rebuttals by Uni-party voters.

I posted something on social media about this, indirectly referring to the party loyalties as “cult-like” behavior, which is a form of indoctrination or mass psychosis:

People didn’t like it, of course. I quickly got shunned, which I wear as a badge of honor, considering the voting reputation of the people doing the shunning. Most people don’t like looking into the mirror and having their behaviors and actions reflected back to them. The cognitive dissonance is often unpleasant to confront.

To be fair, there are a nontrivial percent of people who embrace indirect criticism as a way of self-improvement. I put myself in this category. After all, even I voted for Democrats and Republicans, once or twice each, over the years.4 I’m not proud of this fact. Each time I did so, it was like having a dark cloud hang over me for years.5

Overzealous Financial and Military Handouts to Israel

Thomas Massie, a Republican Congressman from Kentucky had mentioned in a June 2024 interview with Tucker Carlson that nearly every Republican in Congress, except for him, has a designated “AIPAC babysitter.6

Additionally, in a recent video clip,7 Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former U.S. Representative from Georgia, told Tucker Carlson that 430 of 435 members of the House (99%) voted against an amendment she put forth. It sought to remove $500 million in funding for Israel’s cooperative missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, from the 2026 Defense Appropriations Act.

Nearly 99 percent of the House voted against an amendment to nix just $500 million in military funding for Israel from the towering $830 billion Pentagon budget bill last week, with just six lawmakers voting for the amendment even as Israel prepares to erect a concentration camp in Gaza to confine Palestinians.

TruthOut.org: “Only 6 Vote for House Legislation to Nix $500M in Military Funding to Israel.” 21 July 2025

For clarification, the actual vote was 422–6 (still 99%), with six members voting in favor: Greene herself, Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Al Green, Summer Lee, and Thomas Massie. Mr. Massie was the only other Republican besides Ms. Green who voted in favor of the amendment.

This is astonishing!

Of course, my Representative, “AIPAC Dave” Joyce (R-OH), wasn’t among the Representatives to vote in favor of this America First (AF) amendment.

At this point, my dog has better intuition and more courage on how to handle the criminal government of Israel than 99% of our Uni-party members in Congress.

Closing Words

My criticism in this post also applies to me to an extent, because as I said, even I fell for the tricks and voted, at times, for the Uni-party.

Moreover, there are some people who really don’t have adequate access to the information that I and a lot of Internet users have, particularly some seniors, elderly, and others for whatever reason. I can relate to, and empathize, with them.

It’s much more difficult for me to accept the excuses and pitiful logic from the vast majority of others who openly and confidently argue for their wing of the Uni-party while bashing the other wing of the Uni-party. That’s easy to do. I’ve done some of this smack-talking myself. But, make no mistake, they are still two wings of the same bird.

The bottom line: the government’s propaganda and indoctrination have done a number on We the People as a society over the past many decades.

There is hope with the younger generation, especially Gen Z, and Independents (about 40% of total voters). So many others, representing a slight majority of voters, are, unwittingly or otherwise, a poison to our Republic.

I’m so glad I began being part of the solution again, and stopped being part of the problem.

Note that no Uni-party president in recent history, including President Trump, has issued an Executive Order to enforce the adherence to Article I, Section 10, Clause 1 of the Constitution that expresses the following: “No state shall coin money, emit bills of credit, or make any thing but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts.” ↩︎
